When you place an order through the Website, you agree to the Terms and Conditions, including this Shipping Policy. These provide both parties to ensure awareness of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

Shipment

Shipment is subject to stock availability. We endeavour to maintain accurate stock counts on the Website. However, from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy. Thus, we may not be able to fulfill all your items at the time of purchase. In such instances we will fulfill the available products to you. We will contact you about if you may prefer to await restocking of the goods ordered. Otherwise, you may prefer for us to process a refund.

Shipping Cost

We have excellent rates with Sendle Couriers. This makes it much more economical for us to send parcels. Shipping costs calculate during the checkout process. It is based on weight, dimensions and destination of the goods in the order. Payment for shipping is added to the cost of goods and collected with the purchase. Shipping, duty and GST will be included in the overall shipping costs.This will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.

Delivery Times

Generally, we dispatch orders within 3 business days of confirmation of the order. Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday during normal business hours. We are closed on national and state public holidays.

In general domestic shipments may be in transit for 2 to 7 working days. International shipments may be in transit for 7 to 30 working days. It may vary greatly depending on the courier. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.

Delivery Address 

  1. We are able to change the address at any time, however before the order is dispatched.
  2. We are unable to offer courier services to P.O. Box addresses.
  3. We are able to ship to P.O. Box addresses using Australia Post service.
  4. Cost of Australia Post service may vary, price will be provided on application.

Exceeding Delivery Times

If for any reason the delivery time exceeds the forecast, please contact us so we can inquire with the carrier. Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link form the carrier. You will be able to follow the progress of their shipment. It will be based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.

Damages In Transit

If your parcel is damaged in transit, if possible, please reject the parcel from the courier. Please get in touch with our customer service. If the delivery has been without you being present, please contact customer service at your earliest. We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has completed their investigation into the claim.

Parcel Lost In Transit

We will process a refund or replacement as soon as the courier has conducted an investigation and deemed the parcel lost.

Insurance 

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

Import Duties & Taxes

For international shipments, FOOD FOR SALE is not liable for import duties and taxes. The customer is liable to pay such duties and taxes upon arrival in destination country. It may vary by country. FOOD FOR SALE encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.

If you refuse to pay such duties and taxes upon arrival at your destination country, the goods will be returned to FOOD FOR SALE at customer’s expense. We will refund the cost of goods for the value of the goods paid, less the cost of return shipping. Thus far, the cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded.
